Yes and no…. In fact you need internet on the first day to register. And then only to update your payment. So the software works autonomously in most cases.
Then there are updates that allow you to have additional features, these updates are free but you will have to connect to the internet to download them. Also if you use backups in the “cloud” obviously you will have to connect. But this is configurable and therefore not mandatory
