YES, in fact it’s first and foremost stock management software. As you can see from the screenshot, you can create items with or without barcodes, with a notion of unit (bottle, pack, kg, etc.), the selling price and the quantity in stock is of course calculated in real time (each time the item is added to stock or removed from the till).

The WAPP (weighted average purchase price) is used to calculate the average purchase price. The margin is calculated automatically, then you can define whether it’s a ‘normal’ item, i.e. one that can be sold as is, or a composite item (we’ll come back to the concept of composite items later) but, for example, I could have a bottle of GRANTS whisky in a bottle and the consumption of GRANTS (which we’re going to set up as X centilitre of the bottle) the stock removal will then be part of the bottle. You can then see that you have 3.5 bottles left, for example. We then indicate whether this is a case item or a stock item. For example, you can track the bottle of gas in the stock items, or in the case of a restaurant, the kilos of beef, or the number of chickens.
