The software runs on Windows (from version 7). No need for a very powerful computer, an I3 will do the trick, instead choose a comfortable screen of at least 19 inches but the software can also work from 15 inches.
We cannot advise you enough to protect the computer with a good UPS, which will have two advantages : protection from power surges but also in the event of a power cut, to be able to finish a receipt. Even if the computer is turned off, the receipts being entered will be kept. In your choice, also look at the number of USB ports, in fact sometimes these are few and will force you to use a USB HUB to increase the number. The minimum will be :
1 for the keyboard 1 for the mouse 1 for the receipt printer
